KΛLPΛΧ is a producer with over 20 years of experience in the electronic music scene. With numerous releases and remixes on Greek and international labels (VIM, Render Obedience, Database) under the alias Entek, he has now returned with a new project, eager to share his signature melodic beats with like-minded people from around the world.

Gear

Central to my setup is Ableton Live in a Windows environment. The sound interface comes from the Tascam Model 12 mixing console, which allows me to have multiple inserts with increased control (gain, EQ, compressor, effects) for my synths. Over the years, I have turned over quite a lot of synth gear, but my favorites have kept their place in the setup: Novation Peak, Behringer DeepMind 12D, and the Neutron. The sonic possibilities with these three are endless. For MIDI control (beat making, VSTi melodies, and tweaking), I use the Arturia Beatstep Pro and the AKAI APC Key 25.

For software, it may seem understated, but I mostly use the Ableton Suite effects. On top of them, I use Soundtoys collection, giving that extra grit and noise when I need it and the XLN Audio XO for variations in the rythm section.

All sound is driven through the KRK RP7 Gen 4, which, coupled with acoustic treatment of the room, brings out great detail in my mixes. I also have 2 sets of headphones: AKG K361 and Sennheiser HD-25.
